German Gomez

German Gomez studied Economics at Tulane University in New Orleans and at Francisco Marroquin University in Guatemala City. He also holds a TESOL certificate from the School for International Training (SIT). He has worked as an EFL teacher and teacher trainer over the past 12 years.

He has also participated in book reviews for publishing houses and as an assessor for SIT´s TESOL certificate course. Over the years, German has participated as a presenter in the Teacher Training Course offered by Instituto Guatemalteco Americano-IGA in Guatemala and various other training programs in Central America and the United States, including TESOL Conferences held in New York City and Denver. He is currently working as the Academic Unit Director at IGA in Guatemala City.
