Jackie Ogega is the African Women’s Project Director at the Religions for Peace International Secretariat in New York. Jackie has extensive experience and skills in gender, peace-building and development and has worked with multi-sectoral partners including the United Nations, civil society, academic institutions and governments. She coordinated gender and development programs in over 30 countries. In her current role, she serves as an expert in strategic gender program and partnership development. She manages the Global Women of Faith Network with regional networks in Asia and the Pacific, North America, Africa, Europe and Latin America & the Caribbean. Currently she is completing her
PhD in peace studies at University of Bradford with focus on gender and peacebuilding.
