Meet Our Trainers

Maristela Silva

Maristela Silva earned her Master of Arts in American Studies from Washington State University and her Bachelor of Arts in English from Amazonas Federal University in Manaus, Brazil.  She has been teaching for sixteen years and has been working on teacher development for about seven at the Binational Center (ICBEU) in Manaus.  Maristela loves dogs and movies. She is currently an English teacher at the Amazonas State University. Her areas of interest include reflective teaching, culture, and professionalism.
